Architects praise plans
The James Watt Dock development has been reviewed by some of Scotland's most prestigious architects.
The Scottish Government-funded Architecture+Design Scotland, which exists to inspire better quality in design and architecture in the public and private sectors, met with the LLP partnership in August to carry out a Design Review.
George Hunter, Head of Operations at Riverside Inverclyde, said: "We provided a full and detailed breakdown on the masterplan for James Watt Dock and had a detailed discussion afterwards. "It was broadly well received and they provided fairly positive comments, which will be the subject of further discussion and inclusion with the amended James Watt Dock masterplan documents."
Design Review is a process where new development proposals are appraised and evaluated by a panel comprised of Board member architects who are professionals and experts in the built environment sector.
